Activate and manage your HelSup license
Activate your product key, refresh its status and manage a website’s activation.
On this page
Overview
License is Settings → Billing → License at #/settings/billing/license. Status and plan come from the configured license provider (unlicensed until you Activate). Billing invoices are not implemented. Core helpdesk works without a paid plan; Pro modules may show unavailable_license until a valid key and Feature Manager flags agree.
When to use this
Vendors need a way to unlock paid flags without shipping a second plugin. Free/Dev in the sidebar is informational, not a license substitute.
Where to find the controls
#/settings/billing/license.
Who can make these changes
manage_settings. WordPress administrator typically has it via Support Admin caps.
Before you begin
Paste key → Activate. Use Refresh status after a plan change. Deactivate before moving a key to another site if your vendor requires it.
Follow these steps
- Open License.
- Paste the key.
- Activate.
- Read Status and Plan.
- Open Features and enable allowed modules.
- Refresh if the vendor dashboard changed.
Settings reference
Key, Status, Plan, Activate, Deactivate, Refresh status. No invoice list in this interface.
Example workflow
A site stays unlicensed, uses Inbox and email, and only later activates to unlock AI Copilot — then still must enable ai_copilot in Features.
Good practices
Store the key in a password manager, not a ticket. Export settings excludes license keys.
Important considerations
Sharing a production key on staging may burn activations. Deactivating the WordPress plugin is not the same as Deactivate on this panel.
If something does not work
Activate fails: outbound HTTPS, wrong key, clock skew, or provider down. Contact support with status text, not the full key.
