HOW TO USE TWILIO SMS WITH HELSUP
Connect a Twilio sender for authenticated SMS support.
Purchase the product here, retrieve the issued package and activation code, install it on your own WordPress website, then complete the provider-specific configuration below. Every later step is limited to capabilities declared by this package.
Receive the package and activation code
After the order is completed, open the HelSup customer portal to retrieve the extension package and the activation code issued for the licensed website.
Install and activate it on your website
On your WordPress website, install and enable the downloaded HelSup extension, open its license or activation screen, paste the activation code and confirm that the license is accepted.
Prepare the Twilio sender
Choose a Twilio phone number or Messaging Service enabled for SMS in the destination regions and intended support use case.
Review messaging compliance
Complete any provider or regional requirements that apply, including Twilio A2P 10DLC registration for applicable US application-to-person traffic.
Enter account credentials
Configure the Account SID and Auth Token used for Twilio Programmable Messaging API requests.
Configure signed callbacks
Set the HelSup inbound and status callback URLs on the number or Messaging Service and ensure X-Twilio-Signature validation succeeds.
Test message and status flow
Receive one controlled SMS, send a text reply and confirm the supported delivery receipt or message status reaches the same HelSup conversation.
Recommended first workflow
Use one test-capable Twilio sender, receive a plain-text SMS, reply from HelSup and observe its status callback. Do not attach media because this package does not implement MMS.
