Open the HelSup customer portal and download the package for this free product. No paid activation code is required.
Install it on your website
On your WordPress website, install and enable the downloaded HelSup extension or product package, then confirm that it appears in the relevant HelSup settings area.
Define the read use case
Choose the exact external object and fields HelSup needs to display. Confirm that the use case can be satisfied with read-only requests before configuring the connector.
Approve the endpoint
Enter only the intended REST endpoint and keep the configured path limited to the approved host and resource. Endpoint design and remote API availability remain outside this package.
Configure authentication
Connect with the API-key or bearer-token method supported by the remote endpoint. Store credentials only in the connector fields intended for that connection.
Map the response
Map the required response fields into a concise object shape for HelSup. Avoid exposing fields that are not needed by the External data or Data table widget.
Test an object read
Run a representative read, verify the returned field mapping and confirm that no write request or remote mutation is involved.
Recommended first workflow
Begin with one stable endpoint and one known object identifier. Authenticate, request the object, map only two or three useful fields and verify them in the External data widget before expanding the mapping.
